“In a disruptive world, senior officials need to exhibit their leadership skills with focus on Empathy, Reverse Mentoring, Ownership, Empowerment/Risk Taking, Quick Decision Making, Capability building of both self and team while anticipating and adapting to the changes to lead from the front while remaining relevant,” says Shri Naresh Anand, RED (South) while delivering his keynote address in the Workshop on Leadership Attributes held at Hyderabad on January 03, 2023.
Organised by SRHQ in association with COE-HR, the one-day workshop has witnessed participation of HOPs, Senior Officials and HOHRs from Southern Region, CPG-3, CC-EOC and Hydro.
SHRM Master Facilitator and subject matter expert Shri Bosco D’Mello covered the context, relevance and the way forward with respect to the 4 identified Leadership attributes, namely, Ownership, Speed, Empowerment/Risk Taking and Growth. The sessions were titled - Context Setting, Thinking Complexity, Leadership Attributes, Wisdom Paradox, Leveraging Paradox and Creating Psychological Safety etc. The highlight of the workshop was the contemporary pedagogy deployed which included videos, cases and exercises and the active participation of the senior officials.
Earlier, Shri Chandramauli S Jangbahadur, AGM (HR), COE-I highlighted the context and background of the program which was carefully designed to strengthen the company’s performance culture. Later, he also shared the key HR Initiatives, the thrust areas, the modifications in Executive Promotion Policy and modalities for promotion of specialist cadre executives.
